As Tower Hill Animal Hospital's office manager and receptionist, Marla is responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking clients in and out, bookkeeping, organizing paperwork, and overall record keeping. Her organizational skills are valuable to keeping the hospital running smoothly. Marla has been with the hospital since it opened in September 2012.

"I love working at Tower Hill Animal Hospital because the clients, their pets, and the people I work with are all great," she says. "I also love being able to take my dog to work with me every day."

Away from the hospital, Marla spends time with her husband, two daughters and her black Labrador. She enjoys gardening, hiking, visiting family and friends, baking, crafts, playing ball and Frisbee with her dog, and generally likes to participate in all outdoor activities.

As our veterinary technician, Greta does a little bit of everything. She nurses the sick animals, assists with surgical procedures, processes blood work, answers phones, and helps guide clients and their pets through their office visits. "I enjoy caring for animals in any and every way possible," she says.

With her calm demeanor, Greta has a natural way of making animals feel safe. She also excels at communicating with both our clients and their animals.

As one of our valued veterinary technicians, Kim wears many hats. Among other things, she cares for our sick patients, monitors them while under anesthesia, places catheters and collects blood samples, and provides pet care education to our clients. "I love the staff and small, one-doctor environment," she says. "(We) spend more time getting to know clients and pets."

Kim joined our team in June 2015 with an associate's degree in Animal Health and 15 years of pet care experience. At home, she has two dogs and six cats. She most enjoys spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren), fishing, camping, swimming, and riding motorcycles.

Bryce is a full-time veterinary technician here at Tower Hill Animal Hospital. She is currently enrolled in the vet tech degree program at Bay Community College. Bryce’s favorite part of her job is that no day is the same, each day includes helping a different patient in a new way. Some of her responsibilities include checking in patients, taking a history, monitoring surgeries, dental cleanings, placing catheters, overall patient care and lab work.

Bryce loves the work environment and atmosphere at Tower Hill. She enjoys working with her co-workers as a team, the passion they share in animal care, and of course, laughter! Some of her hobbies include horseback riding, four wheeling, hiking, kayaking, fishing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. At home, she cares for 3 pets of her own. A Black Lab, Pitbull mix, and Holland Lop rabbit.

Diane is a full-time veterinary technician, with 40 years of experience as a certified groomer and dog trainer. She was a client prior to joining the team and was thrilled at the opportunity to join the staff in October of 2017. Diane loves working with animals and helping their owners understand the medical, emotional and physical needs of their pets. Some of her daily responsibilities include retrieving information from pet owners, setting up vaccines and prescriptions, assisting the doctors during exams and cleanings, and stocking supplies. Diane also assists with surgery preparation and various medical treatments.

In her free time, Diane enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, hiking, and biking. She has 7 dogs that she loves teaching new tricks to. Diane is very active in agility, nose work, and obedience training, along with tracking and protection training.

Linda is a part-time receptionist at Tower Hill, with 15 years of experience in the animal care field. She is responsible for greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and helping where needed. Linda loves interacting with clients and their pets. She enjoys the friendly atmosphere of the hospital and has great respect for the veterinarians of Tower Hill.

When she isn’t working, Linda enjoys gardening, knitting, walking, spending time with family, and traveling to Maine. She has one dog of her own, a Heinz 57 rescue.

Lori’s career in the veterinary field started when she was a freshman in college. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. Over the past 35+ years, she has held job titles such as: kennel attendant, veterinary technician, surgical technician, x-ray technician, groomer, client liaison and receptionist. In April of 2018, she joined the Tower Hill Animal Hospital family part-time as a receptionist and is delighted to be working alongside old friends and colleagues!

Throughout her career, she has most enjoyed educating people about pet care AND learning something new every day! Lori and her husband have two rescue dogs. An 8-year-old Pug and a 5-year-old Beagle and French Bulldog mix. They are hockey, Nascar and football fans. They also enjoy warm, sunny weather.
